With quotes in industry news like ‘The age of collaborative marketing has arrived’ and Forbes online touting brand collaboration as ‘The next big thing’ it’s no wonder that we are seeing more and more brands collaborating to offer their customers that little bit extra.
It’s for this reason that we were excited to work on a new campaign based around collaboration from two leading Channel Island brands. Oi’s client Airtel-Vodafone teamed up with Cherry Godfrey Finance to develop a belt-tightening January promotion offering customers two months’ free line rental and money back on a personal loan.
We developed a suite of print adverts using creative that connects with people making New Year’s resolutions and hitting the gyms in abundance at this time of year. Strong headlines, such as; ‘Get your finances in shape’ and ‘Slim down your finances’ were used to grab the attention of people looking to start the year off with a healthy look at their finances. The campaign is running in newspapers and magazines across Jersey and Guernsey, as well as hitting the airwaves with a radio advert using a script developed by Oi.
Point of sale has been rolled out across both Airtel-Vodafone stores and Cherry Godfrey branches with the brand hierarchy lending itself to where the point of sale is displayed. It was important in this instance to find the right balance so each brand could compliment each other.
In addition to the above-mentioned communications, the campaign has also been rolled out across Airtel-Vodafone’s website, in-store promotional videos, Facebook content and email marketing.
