The autumn campaign video created by Oi alongside the team at Visit Jersey and local videographer Jim & Tonic has been remarkably well received, achieving over 300k views through organic reach alone.
The video, which was shot in London, features real people who are asked how living in the city makes them feel, allowing the interviewees to stop and think about the stresses of everyday life that they sometimes need a break from – relatable feelings for many city-goers.
Offering Jersey as the solution, the video shows beautiful footage depicting the island as the perfect place to relax, revitalise and reconnect this autumn. The campaign approaches classic tourism in a less obvious way, focusing on how visiting the island makes you feel. Visit Jersey’s Head of Marketing Adam Caerlewy-Smith said in an interview with Channel 103, “It’s a really competitive market so we need to do things differently sometimes.” The campaign, which will run across multiple channels targeting people living in cities with easy access to the island is another example of how Oi continues to approach projects with brand new thinking.
