Oi's Visit Jersey campaign shortlisted for another major UK award

Oi's multi-award winning Visit Jersey brand launch campaign, including the live sunset social video entitled 'Shoreditch to Shoreline', has been shortlisted for another major UK marketing award. 

The campaign has been shortlisted for Best Digital Campaign for Tourism at the inaugural International Travel & Tourism Awards. Presented by WTM, the awards aims to celebrate the best of travel and tourism around the globe. This includes destinations, tourist boards, private companies and individuals working in the sector. More than 500 industry figures will attend the ceremony on November 6 in London.

The agency, and Visit Jersey, picked up the Best Brand Building Campaign for SMEs Award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing “Marketing Excellence Awards” in London last May. It was also shortlisted for Best Integrated Campaign. 

'We are really proud of the effective work we have produced for Visit Jersey over the last three years,' said Peter Grange, Oi Chief Executive Officer. 'The campaigns have helped Visit Jersey significantly grow the island's tourism sector, reporting its best year in a decade recently.'

Tourism receipts from Jersey’s 727,000 visitors were equivalent to £2,400 for each man, woman and child in Jersey. Visit Jersey's 2017 annual report,  issued in May this year, showed an increase in first time visitors of 52% and total visitors by 5% above the 2016 figures.

Look out for Visit Jersey's Autumn campaign by Oi, which launches in September. Hopefully another success story and award-winner :)
