Oi’s creative and digital teams have once again worked on this year’s January Sale campaign for The Royal Yacht. Rather than using both print and digital advertising as has been done in previous years, we shifted the focus to purely Facebook paid advertising for Jersey's leading hotel. 

The series of paid Facebook single image adverts were targeted to Jersey and Guernsey audiences as teasers leading up to the one day only sale on 8th January. The adverts were also used for radial targeting to reach a UK audience within travelling distance of main gateways to Jersey (London Gatwick, London City, Southampton and Liverpool airports) to push the January Sale and increase brand awareness in the UK market.

The teaser adverts ran from 4th to the 7th January to raise awareness of the sale, with the creative changing for the day of the sale on 8th January with the key messaging centering around ‘book online today, our biggest sale of the year is here for one day only’.

The feedback from the client highlighted the success of this advertising method, calling it their “best January Sale ever”, with the adverts achieving a reach of 250,000 unique users compared to 95,000 unique users from the year before.
